Our INTU Deluxe Pro Filter has also been developed to stop the build-up of limescale! Using revolutionary FOF limescale breakdown technology our INTU Deluxe Pro Filter uses Ion exchange to destroy the construction of Ca (calcium) and Mg (magnesium) forming as CaCO3 (calcium carbonate). The Ca and Mg minerals are still left in the water as Ions, both of which support good health.
Limescale is a huge problem to many homes across the UK in hard water areas - by installing an INTU tap with our Deluxe Pro Filter, the limescale gets broken down, leaving you with tastier and healthier water! With an INTU hot filtered water system, the water is filtered before entering the heater tank, which removes 98% - 100% of limescale.
This helps protect your INTU heater tank, keeping the maintenance low and working efficiently*.
Sustainability is a big focus for our team at INTU - reducing plastic waste, saving energy and water are benefits you receive from using our products, but we made sure our replacement filters are fully recyclable as well.
The revolutionary FOF technology is an environmentally friendly material, together with the other elements of our filters, they can be safely recycled at home.

We supply our advanced technology products at an affordable price because our mission is to provide homes a way to improve their health and sustainability. There are cheaper products available but the quality, technology and customer service we provide cannot be matched for the price we offer.
Our replacement filters are fairly priced, and with a filter subscription we offer a 27% discount, as a thank you for continuing to look after your INTU product.
INTU filtered hot water systems provide instant 98 degree celsius hot water, not 100 degree celsius boiling water. We designed our products in this way because it provides a smooth steady stream of near boiling water from the tap - with no spitting or heavy steam!
Generally, temperatures above 65 degrees celsius are effective in destroying any harmful bacteria. An INTU heater ensures that water heats well beyond the temperatures required to kill bacteria.
The perfect temperature to brew coffee is actually 96 degree celsius, green tea 80 degrees celsius and English tea 98 degrees celsius. With our digital tank you can set the maximum temperature you like from 45 - 98 degrees.
